Jada M. Samuel is a creative communicator, change agent and champion for girls.
As Miss South Carolina
After five years of competing at the state's pageant, Jada was awarded over $85,000 in scholarships and crowned Miss South Carolina 2023. She made HERstory - becoming the first woman in over 60 years to win performing a dramatic monologue, the fourth Black woman and the eldest woman in the program to ever win the title.

During her time as Miss South Carolina, Jada hosted education panels on statewide television with SC ETV, was a guest of the First Lady at the White House and received a Key to the City.

Most importantly, she partnered with statewide organizations and school districts across the state to reach over 40,000 students with a platform of Empowering Youth Through Mentorship and her own children's book focused on mentorship.
A Lifetime of Empowering Girls
After her own experiences with low self-esteem, Jada wanted to start conversations with girls that would change their relationship with confidence. In 2014, she hosted an event that led to what she knows to be her life’s purpose.

iShapeMe Inc. is a nonprofit mentoring organization that empowers girls and young women to shape themselves mentally, physically and spiritually. The mission is to encourage high self esteem, positive body image, a fit and healthy lifestyle and a grounded faith in Christ through events, scholarships and mentoring programs.

Soon, Jada and the team will be launching Shaping Her Future - a college and career readiness community for high school and college aged women.
